The Hug Day
After the criticism and judgments from the public, we, Cordians became united. There are feelings of loneliness, isolation and anger thus we felt the need for healing and uplifting of spirits. Hugging is definitely a powerful way of healing. 
Research shows that hugging is extremely effective in healing sickness, disease, loneliness, depression, anxiety and stress.
#HugDay was conceptualized by some faculty, administrators and student leaders at Sacred Heart College.
I believe that hugs are physical evidence of Jesus. You can feel His warmth and compassion spilling out from the person you are hugging, which makes the hug even more incredible. I realized the healing power of hugs during the Hug Day. I have never seen or felt so much love expressed through hugs in my entire life. And now I truly believe that hugs can change the world, one loving embrace at the time.
Intramurals 2018
Intramurals are designed for everyone to have fun but still have a competitive edge. There are many possible ways as a student at Sacred Heart College to get
involved in intramurals mainly because there are a lot of kinds of sports you can join and immerse to.
Involvement in intramurals gives the chance to not only play sports that are enjoyable, but also the opportunity to meet new people and develop a relationship with them.
Retreat
When I was a grade 10 student, we underwent the process of fully grasping our true identities through our retreat in Villa Sta. Luisa Retreat House. At first, I’m kind of excited yet nervous because there are a lot of ghost stories I heard about this place.
Surrounded for 2 days by beautiful people in tranquil surroundings, having time to contemplate and cultivate, it was truly a wonderful experience. Giving yourself the gift of time away in quiet reflection, time away to concentrate on those things that you know are so important, time away to connect with your deeper self, is profoundly powerful. Undergoing a period of spiritual incubation will have untold benefits to you, and all those that surround you. You will receive a new perspective on your life and the spiritual strength to make difficult decisions upon your return. I can say that this retreat molds me for whom or what I am in the near future.
Immersion
One of the programs and services, Sacred Heart College is well-known for is the “Exposure Immersion”, students are engage in 2 day stay in a depressed community where actual dialogue with the poor takes place with them and getting to know their needs and aspirant.
I’m able to experienced this kind of program when I was at 10th grade in Barangay Barra. Exposure Immersion is more than just being visible, it is being present, engaged and actively involved in the residential community. The charity, we create a deeper sense of community with each other. 
We begin to see ourselves as one community connected with each other. We begin to understand, and to acknowledge, hat we are interdependent in a respectful and supportive way. Through the exposure immersion program, my level of awareness and consciousness of the realities besetting the people in the community raised and developed.
Earthquake and Fire Drills
Sacred Heart College annually conducts earthquake and fire drills. It is best to be prepared and ready for all eventualities, because no one can predict when earthquakes will happen.
Through creating a comprehensive, all-hazards emergency plan and implementing earthquake drills, the correct procedures to be followed during the actual occurrence were instilled in the minds of the students of Sacred Heart College. All these will help ensure that there will be no confusion or panic among students and faculty members. Proper execution of school drills will also help prevent panic, which might lead to accidents when everyone is overwhelmed with fear during a strong earthquake. While earthquakes can never be predicted, being prepared spells the difference for the safety of our students and teachers.
Feeding Program
People say when you give sacrifice your time for others, you are also sacrificing a part of your life for them. With that, I agree because that was how I felt joining in the feeding program. It is more than just feeding program.
It was a heart-touching experience to become a part of something simple yet significant. Seeing them passing by to get food is more than just a charity for me, but it is giving without having to expect anything in return. I would wonder if I were in their shoes, I would wonder the exact same thing as they finally get their fill for the day. God spoke to me through these people because it was right there and then that He was teaching us that we could only know the value of life once we have nothing. This experience is something I will definitely go back to over and over again. Being a servant is more than just having to bring the word of God, but it is also having to be Jesus to others through our deeds and actions.
